U.S. Arena Polo Open Championship 2025

December 9-13, 2025 at LAEC Equidome Proudly Presented by California Polo Club

The U.S. Open Arena Polo Championship is the pinnacle of tournament play for arena polo in the United States.

The world’s top players will step into the arena to battle for glory and a record $100,000 tournament prize purse.

First played in 1926 when Yale University claimed the inaugural title, the Arena Open has long stood as the pinnacle of arena polo, a championship rich with heritage and history. This year is shaping up to be one of the biggest yet, with the potential to welcome as many as 12 teams, aiming to surpass the previous record of nine and set a new milestone for the sport.

Beyond the exciting tournament play, the U.S. Arena Open will feature special activities and events for everyone to enjoy. Spectator tickets will be available for all matches and related events, so mark your calendars for December, plan your outfits and invite your friends to join in this incredible polo experience.

Train with a Legend. Learn the Game Inside and Out.

Join us for a two-day intensive clinic with polo legend Corky Linfoot, designed for competitive players and developing riders alike.


What’s Included

• Mounted Drills – Riding & hitting exercises, throw-ins, knock-ins, and tactical play development

• Chalk Talks & Discussions – Tactics, theory, and polo philosophy in an open, interactive format

• Lunch Included Daily

• Day 2 Video Review – Footage from the clinic with commentary & feedback


Schedule & Groups

Group 1 – Game-Ready Riders (Chukker-Eligible)

8:00 AM – 12:00 PM  |  Max 12 Riders


Group 2 – Foundation Builders / Coaching-Level Riders (Lesson Track)

12:00 PM – 4:00 PM  |  Max 12 Riders


Each group will be divided into two sub-groups of six riders for personalized instruction.


Clinic Fees

CPC Members – $499 (2 Days)  / $300 (1 Day)

Non-Members – $599 (2 Days)  /  $350 (1 Day)


Horse Hire (Optional)

CPC Members – $125 per day / per pony

Non-Members – $175 per day / per pony

CPC Members may apply lesson package credits toward horse use.


Audit Access – Learn from the sidelines, stay in the game.

Engage with the classroom portions—chalk talks, tactical sessions, and polo philosophy discussions—without riding.

Non-Members Audit Rates

Audit access includes daily lunch. Mounted drills are reserved for riding participants only.


About Corky Linfoot

A third-generation polo player and former 7-goal professional, Corky Linfoot is one of the sport’s most respected figures. His career includes victories in two U.S. Open Polo Championships®, four Pacific Coast Opens, and prestigious international titles such as the Coronation Cup and Queen’s Cup in the UK. Known for his deep understanding of horsemanship, team dynamics, and tactical play, Corky brings decades of global experience and a passion for player development to every session.
