Join California Polo Club for an afternoon of high-goal polo, tailgating, and a charcuterie-style potluck at the Pacific Coast Open Finals at Santa Barbara Polo Club! At 16 goals, the Pacific Coast Open is one of SBPC’s premier high-goal summer tournaments and the final tournament of the season. It’s sure to be some of the best polo on the West Coast this summer! 🏆🐎
🧀 CHARCUTERIE POTLUCK Let’s make this one a beautiful charcuterie-style spread! Please bring something nice and generous enough to share with the group — quality cheeses, cured meats, pâté, crackers and breads, olives, dips, fancy nuts, fruit, chocolates, or another favorite addition. 🥂 Bringing drinks? Please be generous and bring enough to share with the group — beer, sparkling water, sodas, and other refreshing drinks are all welcome.
⭐ NO TIME TO SHOP? If you don’t have time to pick something up or bring anything, you’re welcome to Venmo a contribution instead, and we’ll use it toward food and beverages for the CPC tailgate. 🚗 CPC CARAVAN & CARPOOL We’ll be leaving CPC around 12:00–12:30 PM on Sunday and caravanning up to Santa Barbara together! 💚🤍 If you’d like to caravan with us or need a ride/carpool, please let us know. We’d love to have everyone travel up together!
📍 DETAILS Admission: FREE Location: Santa Barbara Polo Club — Field 2 CPC Tailgate: Spots #4 & #5 Please enter Field 2 at the corner of Nidever & Via Real and drive slowly and carefully, as the field is sensitive. Valet parking is also available for $10. Please do not park directly behind the CPC tent.
👒 GUESTS & WHAT TO BRING Feel free to bring friends and family — guests are welcome! You may also bring coolers and beach chairs. Umbrellas are not allowed.
⚠️ Please be extremely careful with glass and anything sharp. Everything must be picked up after the match to keep the polo field safe for the horses. 🐎 DURING THE MATCH Once the game begins, please do not cross the field or walk in front of the other tailgate tents. Please walk behind the tents only. Everyone is welcome to join the half-time Divot Stomp! When you hear the horn, please return promptly to the tailgate area. Porta-potties are available on the field.
