California Polo Club is a premium boarding facility and polo club in Southern California.

California Polo Club is a current member of the United States Polo Association (USPA) and it has been the best place to learn polo in Los Angeles since 1995. Continuing the tradition that began in 1876, three dedicated polo players – Rodney Fragodt, Ralph Rosato and Carlos Figueroa reopened CPC’s doors for business at our current location in January 1995. Since then, the  California Polo Club has offered its members, students and guests a state-of-the-art facility (chosen by Polo America as the Best Arena Polo Club in the country 2013 & 2014 as well as Best Polo School in the country 2013 & 2014) quality instruction with emphasis on safety, competition and fun!

California Polo Club was the proud host of the U.S. Arena Open Polo Championship, the most prestigious arena polo event in the world, in 2007, 2009, 2011, 2021 and 2023. We  are also the proud home of the WCT Arena Polo Championship – the premiere all-womens arena polo National Championship. Additionally, the club hosts numerous USPA sanctioned and local events annually.

California Polo Club offers lessons and/or game play six days a week, Tuesday through Sunday. We welcome students and guests to join members for social events, such as our weekly summer cookouts. All matches are open to the public for viewing free of charge .

We offer horse boarding and polo classes, along with hosting regular chukkers and full polo games for club members. The club is a special place, inspired by the beauty and romance of the polo lifestyle. Here, attention is given to detail and each player is encouraged to come at the level they are, and to grow with our community. In classes, focus is placed on the process the steady development of core technique. Our classes are perfect for beginner, intermediate, and advanced players. We also offer private instruction, private club events, and horse care services.

Our philosophy is to support the polo community, both riders and horses, and allowing them to maximize themselves and the game in the best arena polo environment possible.
