U.S. Open Arena Polo Championship 2025

  • 12-16 Goal Polo

California Polo Club (CPC) is honored to host the 2025 U.S. Open Arena Polo Championship.

The U.S. Open Arena Polo Championship is one of the highest levels of arena polo competition played in the United States. Historically, the tournament was played alternately between the East Coast and West Coast. After nearly a decade of only East Coast hosts, we are excited to host this event on the West Coast.

  • $100K Prize

The 2025 U.S. Arena Open Championship features a $100,000 prize awarded to the winning team—one of the largest purses in the history of American arena polo. This significant prize reflects the growing prestige and competitive level of the tournament.

CPC elevates the sport of arena polo and ensures that all participating athletes can enjoy high-quality competitive play as they seek the national title of arena polo champion.

  • USPA Certified

California Polo Club has been officially designated by the United States Polo Association as the host of the 2025 U.S. Open Arena Polo Championship. As the premier arena polo club on the West Coast, California Polo Club brings one of the most prestigious tournaments in American polo to Los Angeles. The event features top athletes, competitive teams, and enthusiastic spectators for an exciting week of high-level arena polo.

A letter from CPC owner Rodney Fragodt

California Polo Club is honored to host the upcoming 2025 U.S. Open Arena Polo Championship this December — the highest caliber of Arena Polo in the country!

The U.S. Open Arena Polo Championship is the most prestigious and the highest level of arena polo sanctioned by the United States Polo Association. This year CPC is proud to announce that we will be awarding a record $100,000 in prize money for the winning team.

As a result, some of the highest rated polo players from around the world will be competing in this championship tournament. We couldn’t be more thrilled to host these incredible players.

Over the years, CPC has raised thousands of dollars at polo events for charities such as The Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, Midnight Mission, Wounded Warriors, and American Heart Association. This year we are pleased to be supporting a charity that is very close to our polo community: the Polo Players Support Group (PPSG). PPSG is a 501(C)3 tax-exempt organization providing financial assistance to seriously injured or ill members of our polo community. Your generous donation to this very worthwhile charity is greatly appreciated.

We thank all our sponsors for their upcoming support in making the 2025 U.S. Open Arena Polo Championship the best possible event. I also want to extend a special thank you to our Pacific Coast Governor Daniel Walker, and our Club Manager Dr. Katty Wong without whom this event would not be possible, Cara Stechmann, the Rege Ludwig family, and all the members and supporters of the California Polo Club. See you at the championship!

Sincerely,
Rodney Fragodt
President
